Emerging from early-century mists with a strident original comeback in 2024, London experimental electronic band Seefeel now clarify that restatement with Pure, Impure, a remastered collection combining early 90s EPs ‘More Like Space’, ‘Plainsong’ and ‘Time To Find Me’ under one banner. This 2025 edition includes Aphex Twin mixes of ‘Time To Find Me’, a previously unreleased demo of ‘Moodswing’ and newly reimagined artwork, all remastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road. The fine grain of Seefeel’s fascinating, foamy sound is easy to miss but truly rewarding; their hoovering drones might lure the listeners into missing the detail, if only for a more mindful listen, unveiling vocals that wash above the sound like dyed CO2 fogs over dry ice.
