2026, 2×12″ LP, Mister Saturday Night Records.

Mister Saturday Night co-founder Eamon Harkin’s debut album – a set that lands some 18 years after his first productions slipped out on tiny New York labels – was reportedly inspired by psychoanalyst D.W Winnicott’s writing on “the psychic space between the inner and outer world, where play, art and culture help us build meaning”. In other words, the music was informed by Harkin’s decades as a working DJ and producer, but also his own inner monologue and the meanings drawn from those experiences. Musically, that means a mixture of bittersweet, glassy-eyed deep house, minor-key techno throb-jobs, immersive ambient soundscapes, post synth-pop deep nu-disco, wild acid jams and pleasingly dubbed-out tech-house warmth.
