After a humble startup release in 2019, Philou Louzolo continues his quest with his Afrofuristic label Wokoundou and welcomes us once again in his fictional multiverse. The opening anthem Ahosi Army is that song where we can hear Philou’s diverse influences come together: aggressive polyrhythmic African drums are taking the lead accompanied by Philou himself playing the percussion in combination with lightsaber – effects and lazershots shooting over a deeply layered African Techno track, a true space battle anthem. Violet and Alma Negra are taking us to a new place at the intergalactic outskirts of Wokoundou’s multiverse with two strong and propulsive remixes. – Clone
