“Bam Bam” is a classic dancehall song by Sister Nancy, released in 1982 on the Stalag Riddim. It’s known for it’s infectious chorus and has become one of the most sampled reggae songs of all time. The song’s popularity has extended beyond Jamaica, with numerous uses in film, television, and advertising. A documentary about Sister Nancy’s life and the song, titled “Bam Bam: The Sister Nancy Story,” was released in 2025.
