Description
2026, 12″ LP, AD 93.
Holy Tongue are one of a litany of group projects percussively backboned by eminent rhythmistress Valentina Magaletti, a trio also consisting of bassist Susumu Mukai and producer Al Wootton. Their creative maelstrom has this time flown them to the Swiss Alps, to record and produce this full-length broken-beat through post-punk ritual LP, following an establishing spate of free improv EPs not quite so fleshed-out as this. With two vocal features from Bristol experimentalist Dali De Saint Paul, you know what you’re in for: totemic rhythm, vocal xenoglossy, sinister images conjured.
