Cardiff’s Harrison BDP (Enclave/Phonica) dropped this one on Shall Not Fade sister-label Lost Palms back in 2018. It soon sold out and remains a modern classic. Bangin’, stabby and cyclical main room techno jams circa 2012 were the reference point for first track which is reminiscent of classic Shed material, while ‘Implosion’ on the flip follows in suit with its intense peak time rave energy. The remainder of the EP captures the essence of the label in fine fashion – from the dubby tech house of the title track with its liquid and ethereal groove, or the deep acid express of ‘Easy Does It’ that’s perfect for those heads down moments under the strobe later on in the night. – Juno
