The latest exercise in what we like to call ‘sublime landscape techno’, Artefakt here curate a four-track EP of collaborations previously released on their own imprint, De Stijl. Based on live sessions involving fellow live instrumentalists and producers, this first EP focuses on Claudio PRC, who has released on Delsin and Semantica Records to name a few. This being minimal and emotive techno of the highest order, ‘Gaia’ and ‘Sonic Rite’ give off an earthy yet airy feel (we know earthy and airy are counterparts, but working their magic, Artefakt reconcile them), while ‘Distant Light’ recalls everything from Gidge to Peter Broderick in its cliff-face neoclassical dirgings. – Juno
