Adam Pits has been on an unstoppable rise over the past couple of years, laying down the kind of fruity, well-informed rave gear that gets a dancefloor juiced up good n’ proper. You can hear flecks of trance sneaking into his first drop for Craigie Knowes, but those wild square wave leads on ‘Secret Entrance’ are given a certain bite which keeps things nice and edgy for the dance. ‘Cosmic Confession’ makes no bones about its trippy intentions, from the blissed out breakdowns to the psy-tweaked drops, while ‘Lucky Dip’ sneaks a little breakbeat crunch in around the edges of the tech-trance. Lourene lends a dreamy vocal turn to closing track ‘Let Your Mind Go’ – the one crafted for that sun-up moment when everyone’s feeling loose and wavy. – Juno
