The excellent Mondo Groove label out of Italy takes us on another worldly disco trip across eight fantastic cuts. Nuccio Di Vico immediately hook you in with the lazy rhythms and starry synths of ‘Lasciati Amare’ and from there Momo Yang gets more funky on ‘Peggio Per Te’ and Patrizia Caselli ups the ante with the funky bass riffs and tooting horn arrangements of ‘Un Amore Anonimo.’ Highlights on the B-side, which is just as good, incudes the more steamy and erotic sounds of Gloria Piedimonte’s ‘Chi Sei’ and percolating disco funk of Spataneri Sebastiano Aria’s ‘Vagabondo Non Sono.’ Super sunny music. – Juno
