Few artists can boast a catalogue as perfectly formed as Eversines, a Dutch producer capable of delivering both strong dancefloor workouts and heady, mind-manging experimental fare. The Dutchman is in full on club-focused form on his latest EP for Nous Klaer Audio, an imprint he’s been associated with since the start of his career. Opener ‘New Place’ is undeniably delicious – a wonderfully far-sighted slab of futurist techno rich in ear-pleasing sci-fi synths – while ‘Whirlpool’ is a trippy, percussively dense, bleep-laden masterpiece. Over on side B, Eversines reaches for a breakbeat house groove and psychedelic TB-303 lines on ‘Nymber’, before joining the dots between skittish techno and warming deep house on ‘Gliding’. – Juno
