Strut continues to mine the back catalogue of disco and boogie-era soul star, Patrice Rushen, with a much-needed reissue of her 1980 set “Posh”. Produced by Rushen, alongside Charles Mims Jr, the set not only contains a string of fine club cuts – think “Never Gonna Give You Up”, the bustling and joyous “Look Up” and “The Funk Won’t Let You Down”) – but also boasts some of the most exciting and interesting arrangements in the legendary disco diva’s discography.
