Description
2020, 2×12″ LP, Groove Armada self-released.
Groove Armada are not the first big electronic act to serve up an album of dance floor focussed sounds in a time when none of us can actually get to a dance floor. Disclosure did it earlier in the year, and just like that duo, this veteran outfit still make it work. As you would expect there are plenty of smooth tunes here with catchy vocals and glossy synths and even a little guest appearance from Sophie Ellis-Bexter. The whole thing is fun, playful, and doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is certainly what we can all do with right now. – Juno
