Konsudd is a new duo formed by Konduku and close collaborator Aa Sudd, and between the,m they manage to cook up a sound that strikes a balance between subtlety and intensity. Their meticulous production shines across these spacious tracks with dynamic layers of atmospheric sounds and powerful, dense kick drums all featuring in harmony. With a focus on soundsystem physicality, ‘Firefly Guarantees Bliss has deep, irresistible sub-bass while double-time rhythms on ‘Stretch’ lull you into a trance. ‘Zum Elefanten’ is more unhinged and alarming, with distant sirens bringing the tension and ‘Petal Soft’ is a gorge that seems to float above the floor while deeply buried bass brings movement down low.
