Barry Can’t Swim, the Edinburgh-born electronic artist, shares his highly anticipated new album Loner on Ninja Tune, attesting the excitement factor of a new artist whose star power has reached boiling point. Proceeding the electrifying single drop ‘Different’ – a fan favourite and fixture of his enigmatic live performances – Loner carries on from the last Ninja LP When Will We Land?, as Barry continues to reflect on his personal journey, by way of toyshop melodies and ahead-of-the-curve dance textures. Barry explains, “If my first album was a collage of all the music I loved growing up, this album is my truest expression of myself and the past year of my life.”
