Tyler, The Creator made a deliberate swerve away from the dense, personal Chromakopia with 2025’s Don’t Tap The Glass, which much more chases brevity and fun over concept. Across a brisk 28 minutes, he leans into rough-edged, danceable grooves that recall the rowdier Cherry Bomb era, from the House of Pain-esque opener to the Off The Wall-style disco bliss of ‘Ring Ring Ring’ and the r&b ‘Sucka Free,’ which could well be his catchiest vocal turn since IGOR. Despite Tyler’s insistence there’s no deep concept here, the tracks flow together with real cohesion across a playful but tightly sequenced ride.
