Linda Di Franco’s music career may have been short-lived, but she still produced a couple of stone-cold Balearic dancefloor classics – ‘TV Scene’ and ‘My Boss’. Here she revisits them with a little help from NYC-based producer Danilo Braca. He first delivers two takes on ‘TV Scene’: an ‘Epic’ remix that re-casts the re-sung classic as a string-laden, organ-rich Italo-house gem, and a squelchy, boogie-meets-disco ‘Costa Del Sol’ revision. On ‘My Boss’, he drops a sparkling, beat-free ‘Pianoapella’, before dropped a loved-up, effects-laden and piano rich dub disco interpretation. Di Franco then takes over, joining forces with “Turin and Los Angeles musician friends” to re-record both tracks as shuffling lounge jazz gems.
